Vegan Religious Groups
The relationship between veganism and religion is an interesting one. It invariably causes heated debate - but, what is clear from the variety of groups linked from this page, is that veganism does not go against the grain of any mainstream world religion - and, in fact, many people feel that veganism is not only consonant with, but is the most desirable way of living according to the fundamental values of, their religion. It is not a great leap for all those who believe in the importance of love, compassion, empathy, and kindness, to find their way to veganism.
